Movement or coordination mildly affected throughout the whole body.

Movement and coordination moderately affected down one side.

Absence of one leg, mid-thigh.

The absence of both lower legs.

Absence of both forearms and both lower legs.

PTS2 Triathletes have coordination affected at a low level across the whole body, moderately down one side, or the absence of limbs.

Ability to transmit power evenly is affected, all have a stop/start motion throughout the race.

Those with absent limbs are slowed in transition with the change of prosthetics - some will ride using one leg, but this can mean they are unevenly fatigued when they get to the run.
