Near-total visual impairment.

Moderate visual impairment, able to see approximately one metre.

A visual impairment, able to see approximately five metres in front of them.

 

PTVI Triathletes have a visual impairment.

To compensate for differing amounts of vision the class uses a staggered start, B1’s start first, followed by B2 and B3’s who start together. All competitors use a guide.
