Movement moderately affected in the lower trunk and highly affected in the legs.

The absence of both legs.

LW12-1 skiers have little movement available in the legs but have good sitting balance.

These skiers are able to balance without using their outriggers, can twist to drive harder, faster turns and are able to absorb bumps well.

Generally, sitting skiers all race together as LW10-12 using a factored timing system.
